A UK site posted a graph showing the days of the year when relationship failing or couples break up happen most frequently. The data was gathered by David McCandless from 10,000 Facebook status updates that had tags of "break up" or "broken up".
The graph highlights that your relationship is safest from August through October. And the most critical on spring break and two weeks before Christmas. Valentines Day and April Fool’s Day have also big numbers on breakup times as well.
Maybe its because of the pressure of those certain occasions? I'm sure each person has his/her own reasons or explanations for the graph above like as we have our own reasons to breakup with someone. But I guess whatever the reasons are, most of us still take Christmas day as a time for sharing and happiness as its the lowest breakup day of the year.
